Would you like to see Flight of the Conchords return for a third season?

Flight of the Conchords star Jemaine Clement has signalled their popular TV series may be grounded for good because it requires too much work.

Clement said he would have to discuss the future of the show with co-star Bret McKenzie and director James Bobin, but a final decision would be made before the end of the month.

It very likely might not return for a third season, Clement told Reuters.

Wednesday November 18, 2009 I find them funny it would be great to see another season. Comedy is as most things down to personal taste and what you get out of it. I personally can't stand Harry Potter I think it is just a media hype of poorly written books. That's just me other people love it - so too the Conchords appeal to different people.

Monday November 16, 2009 I managed to watch a couple of episodes. They don't deserve the publicity or compliments they have been getting. To paraphrase the apocryphal comment about Fred Astaire - "Can't sing, can't dance, not at all funny". There is nothing "tall poppy syndrome" about it. These aren't the tall poppies, they are the small town hicks.

Friday November 13, 2009 Apparently, if I don't love them, I'm suffering from Tall Poppy Syndrome. I don't find them funny, don't find their songs clever, and watched Eagle vs Shark and found it boring and derivative of Napolean Dynamite (which WAS funny). No wonder 30 Rock took the awards. Now THAT'S funny.

Thursday November 12, 2009 I am definitely a fan. Howver I think the second series wasnt as good as the first. So much pressure to write new songs etc when the first included their great compilation developed over the years.

If they do a 3rd season they need to take it in another direction.

Wednesday November 11, 2009 I'm gobsmacked by the amount of negative feedback on here. I think these guys are great! love their shows and I am proud that they have done so well overseas. Anyone who thinks they are taking the p*** out of them is probably a bit of an idiot and should stick to some uninspiring, dull crap like CSI.

Tall poppy syndrome never dies eh! I reckon they should do a 3rd season where they go around NZ taking the p*** out of all you small town hicks that wouldn't know creativity if it walked up and slapped you in the face. Good on ya lads!
